INNOVATIVE WORK


INNOVATIVE WORK

Innovation in education encourage teachers and students to explore, research and use all the tools to uncover something new. I taught the topic organisation involved in environmental protection by using an innovative model in 8E standard. I constructed the innovative model of symbol of World Wide Fund for Nature by using husk ash charcoal and cotton. It is an improvised teaching aids, through this I convey endangered species and organisations involved in environmental protection.


INNOVATIVE SEGMENT
           My innovative segment in teaching learning process was the awareness class on AIDS and presented a paper model of  HIV virus.So I included the innovative segment in 8 standard that they had to study in the unit WHY CLASSIFICATION.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER IV: WEEK 7


REFLECTION WEEK VII

It was the last week of our teaching practice. I completed all my lesson plans and project work. It was a great experience for me throughout the teaching practice phase. During these days gives me a golden opportunity to improve myself. These days makes me more responsible, punctual and patient towards life. I also conscientization  class  and health education class in 9E standard.

ABOUT MY CLASS

I completed 2 lesson plan in 8E. The topic Lost links was transacted in the form of Inquiry training model. This class was arranged in college as the part of demonstration class. So it was observed by my juniors.

HEALTH EDUCATION
I conducted health education class in 9E on the topic Alcoholism and Drug abuse.




CONSCIENTIZATION

I took conscientization class on the topic ADOLESCENTS ISSUES AND THEIR MANAGEMENT.
I used power point presentation and videos for making aware about the their problems.

In the last day of our teaching practice, school authority arranged a farewell for us. Headmaster gave valuable message to us. Deputy HM thanked us for our service in the school. Staff secretory Yohannan Sir wished us for brightful future.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER IV: WEEK 6


REFLECTION WEEK IV

This week was a busy week since I had to complete our lesson plans and also does the project at the same time. In this week our optional teacher Sojiya John had came for observing my class.


ABOUT MY CLASS
 I competed 3 lesson plans. The topic Food web and trophic level transacted in Inductive thinking model in 8E standard. The topic ecological interactions transacted in 5E model. Most of my teaching aid was videos and image.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER IV: WEEK 5


REFLECTION WEEK 5

After christmas vecation we again reached in school on 31st December. We met our HM and he gave instructions for the coming days of teaching practice. In this week I completed 3 lesson plans, one for 8th standard and other 2 lesson plans for 9th standard. My class was observed by college teacher Asha K Thomas on 31/12/2019. The topic food chain and food web were transacted in class 8E. After my class teacher gave valuable instructions to me.


ABOUT MY CLASS
I completed 3 lesson plans. In 8E I taught the unit Diversity of sustenance and in 9E I taught the unit  Biology of movement. I used teaching aids chart, video, blackboard etc.



In this week we conducted a physical education class about yoga in 8C class. Each student teacher performed different asanas of yoga and students were followed our instructions. In this section, I performed Vrikshana. 





SCHOOL ACTIVITIES 
In school new year and christmas was celebrated on 1/1/2020. We celebrated the new year very joyfully and decorated the class. Students gave cake to all teachers.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER: IV WEEK-4



REFLECTION WEEK-4


This is our last week of first section in teaching practice. Then will continue after christmas exam. The christmas exam are going to begin from 9th December. I completed the portion required for the christmas examination and my 8 lesson plans. For to complete the portion, I spend more time in both 8th and 9th standard. In this week I conducted diagnostic test and pretest for my project.


ABOUT MY CLASS

I completed 8 lesson plans. Among 8 lesson plans four were in 9th standard. In 8E I taught the unit "Why classification" and in 9E I taught unit " Excretion to maintain Homeostasis".The topic Excretion in other organisms were taught by Role play model. I used teaching aids like blackboard, video, images, activity cards etc.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER: IV WEEK: 3



REFECTION WEEK 3

In this week I completed six lesson plans. Among six lesson plans, five were in 9th standard. As per my time table I have 4 hours in both 8th and 9th standard. But I got two substitution period in 9th standard. There was no other significant events in school.

ABOUT MY CLASS

In 8th standard I got only one period and I transacted the topic Taxonomic hierarchy in ICT model. In 9th standard I used images, videos, chart, activity card etc.

TEACHING PRACTICE SEMESTER IV: WEEK-2


REFLECTION WEEK 2

On the second week of teaching practice I have completed 5 lesson plans. As per the time table I didn't have any class on Wednesday and Thursday. But I got a period on Thursday. I completed 2 lesson plan in VIII E and 3 lesson plan in IX E.


ABOUT MY CLASS

In 8th standard, I used ICT based lesson plan for transacting the topic" Contributions In The History Of Taxonomy". In this way , students understood about the  scientists and their contributions to taxonomy.
In 9th standard I used activity based lesson plan including many videos. The topics are took from the Unit 5, Excretion to maintain Homeostasis.
